Office closed September 6th for Labor Day Holiday!

Funerals this week

·        A funeral Mass will be celebrated for Silvestre Fabroa on Saturday, at 11am with reception following.  The committal service will be at Holyrood after the reception.

·        A funeral Mass will be celebrated for Ralph Stanislawski on Wednesday, September 8th at 11am.  Committal will be at Acacia.

All Parish Mass and Picnic

·        The annual all parish Mass will be celebrated in the church on Sunday, September 19th at 10am.  There will be no 8am or 12 noon Mass that day.

·        Join us for the picnic after the Mass for delicious food and fun activities for the whole family.

Signups begin for Children’s Faith Formation

·        Please stop at the information table after Mass to learn more about our children’s faith formation programs.  Programs include Pathways (our elementary faith formation program), Little Disciples (children’s liturgy for preschoolers from ages 3 to kindergarten), and Children’s Liturgy of the Word.  Volunteers are needed for all these programs.

Young at Heart Book Discussion and Tea—Wednesday, August 18

·        Join us on Wednesday after the morning Liturgy of the Word and Communion (about 9am) for Tea and a discussion of the book Compassion, A Reflection on the Christian Life.  We will read the first chapter and discuss it over tea and pastries.

Altar Server training—Thursday, August 19

·        Are you interested in serving at our Masses?  If you are at least 9 years old and have received First Communion, come to training on Thursday, August 19 at 9am in the Church.  For more information, contact Mr. Tom Gray at gwtom@att.net.

   Funerals

·        We will celebrate a funeral Mass in the Chapel for Mildred Ledger on July 12th.  Committal will occur at Holyrood immediately after the Mass.

Vacation Bible Camp Set Up and clean up

·        All are welcome to help out with set up:

§  Sunday from 2pm to 6pm

§  Monday from 10am until done!

·        Clean up is Friday, beginning at 1pm. 

No meetings during Vacation Bible Camp

·        During the week of July 11th through the 16th Vacation Bible School activities will be occurring in all the normally used meeting rooms. 

·        Regularly scheduled liturgies and choir practices will still be held.

RCIA Inquiry—July 12

·        Are you interested to know more about how to become a member of the Catholic Church?  If so, come on Monday, July 12, at 7pm to ask questions and explore the basic tenets of the Catholic Faith

Funerals

·        We will celebrate a funeral Mass in the Chapel for Joe Lindsley on July 8th at 11am, with reception following.

·        Saturday morning, July 10, at 9am, we will celebrate a funeral Mass for Lenore Benson.  There will be a reception immediately following.

·        We will celebrate a funeral Mass in the Chapel for Mildred Ledger on July 12th at 11am.  Committal will occur at Holyrood immediately after the Mass.

·        The parish office will be closed on July 5th as we celebrate the Holiday.

Campus Clean Up—July 11th

·        Join your fellow parishioners on July 11th from 8am to 12 noon for an all parish effort to do battle against the weeds and overgrowth on our campus. 

·        Please bring your own gardening tools and gloves.  Coffee and pastries will be served.
