Prayers and Support Urged for Chile and Haiti

§        Catholic Relief Services is accepting donations to help those in Chile affected by the powerful earthquake that struck the South American country on Saturday.

§        CRS will be supporting the relief efforts of the local Catholic Church through Caritas Chile, the social service arm of the Catholic Church in Chile, which is responding with food and other assistance.

§        Join us for a soup supper at 5:30pm, followed by Stations of the Cross.

Taize Prayer Service Sunday at 7:30pm

§         The St. Brendan Sr. High Youth Group will lead a Lenten Taize Prayer service in the Church on February 21st

§         The Sr. High Youth Group will not have it’s regular meeting.

§         Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation begins February 25th in Lower Brendan House at 7pm.  Classes are one and half hours.

Funeral

§         A rosary will be prayed for Florence Leonard on Thursday, February 11th, at 7pm in the Chapel.

§         The funeral Mass for Florence will be celebrated on Friday, February 12th, at 11am in the Nave.  There will be a reception afterwards, with committal at a later date.

 

Celebration of 25 and 50 years, and beyond Wedding Anniversaries

§         Join us at the 5pm Mass on February 13th as we bless those couples who have reached the wedding anniversary milestone of 25 or 50 years, and beyond.  There will be a reception afterwards.  Please contact the parish office at 425.483.9400 if you would like to add your name to the list of those celebrating these milestone anniversaries.

 

Sacrament of Anointing on Friday, February 12th

§         We will celebrate the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick at the 8:30 morning Mass.  The school community will lead us in this World Day of the Sick celebration.

§         The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick should be received by those experiencing serious illness, or anticipating surgery, and is best received in the context of community.
